More About Me:

I grew up in Bhubaneswar, Orissa where I had most of my education starting from school days to MBA. I got my undergrad degree in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering & Technology, followed by an M.B.A degree. from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar in 1997.

I started my professional career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Calcutta and GE Capital , Banglore, India. My work involved Data warehousing, Data Mining and Risk Management.

In 2000, I joined Department of Statistics at  North Carolina State University to pursue graduate study in Statistics. My research at NCSU focused on improving the computational efficiency of Data Mining algorithms primarily with use of Genetic Algorithms and Neural Networks in combinatorial optimization and multiple regression problems. In 2002, I graduated from NCSU and joined Risk Management divison of Household Credit Card Services (now HSBC).

Recently (in March 2004), I joined Citi Cards, New York. During my free time I enjoy listening to rock music. Don't forget to sign my guestbook to let me know your comments.
