Birdwatch
Birdwatch is a very popular activity.
It does not cost much : all you need is a good pair of binoculars
and lots of patience.
And if you're lucky to have a partner with whom you can share, it makes it
even more exciting.
One can watch birds all year long, even in big cities like Montréal.
Montréal city offers, during winter, many interesting sites, where feeders
are supplied for the birds.
Like le Jardin Botanique, le Bois-de-Liesse, le Cap St-Jacques and l'Ile de
la Visitation.
When Spring comes, many bird lovers gather at Baie du Febvre and Plaisance
to observe the arrival of the Canada Goose and the Snow Goose.
During the summer of 1997 and 1998, I visited birds with a friend, in the Ottawa Valley, in a quaint village called Notre Dame du Laus. There, in full nature, we could see many nice species.
Now, since summer 2000, I live in Vergennes with my husband, in the Champlain Valley. There are so many birds to see there, it is awesome.
By the way ... my husband's name is Ed. And now, he's hooked on birds too!!!!
Hello, my Sweet Sweetie!!!!!!!!!!!
Here are some species that I had the chance to see :
To see and hear other birds... go there...
