After candidate completes and submits the application material to CCS, he/she will be required to do the following:
- Interview(s) with Director
- Interview with Candidate Committee of Board of Directors
- A positive vote of the Candidate Committee is tantamount to a call to serve.
All applicants must have a unanimous vote of the Board of Directors at a regular or special Board meeting.
Final Appointment
- The presentation by the candidate of all credentials
- Positive recommendations by those familiar with the candidate.
- Approval of the Board of Directors
- Training for ministry by CCS
- Raising of required support (Staff Chaplains and Provisional Chaplains Only)
