This site was inspired by my experiences at raising poultry. Like a lot of Newbies I jumped in head first with the famous phrase: "Let's buy a chick". I knew Nothing! I have learned from my mistakes (many in the beginning), by asking others for help, and by researching my questions. It is my sincerest wish to help other Newbie pet owners enjoy the fascinating world of poultry. What started out as three small chicks has grown into a small flock of chickens, turkeys, quail, ducks, and more. I enjoy countless hours watching time pass by gazing upon my small wildlife refuge. I hope that this site will offer the Newbie and those with more experience much valued information. This site will be continually upgraded and redeveloped as more information is gathered.
