"Can't Hide from Your Calling."
Crevices are for creeping things that dwell in rocks and caverns
You were made to spread your spirit
Among the host of heaven
To guide the weary as to the way
Of true living
In this physical being
To claim their inheritance through my beloved.
And bring the blind to seeing
To worship me alone as I
Am the only living God
To revere my son and the Holy Spirit
And to walk circumspectly as I would have
To never turn from my seed
To have mercy on the ones that I have mercy
And give unto their need
I have predesinated you
From the beginning and my Word shall go forth strong
Nowhere to go
From love
Nowhere to hide
It took awhile for you to listen to my
Still small voice
But to me
It was not long
Show thyself
Come out and cover up with the feathers of my protection
And live I say, Live for Me
And hide no more
From my spoken Word.

Lord You Are -
My Star to shine in me
My Ocean of love that engulfs me with gentle laps of love taking out the old and bringing in the new
My Tree, upon which I can lean and climb in your branches for a better view
My Flower – which is gloriously arrayed
My Meadow – where everything is marvelously and wondrously madeand where I can walk in a newness of life
My Air, for I know it is You that breathes into me the breath of life
My Stream that gives crystal clear water so that I may not thirst
My Valley that protects me from any storms that pass my way
My Rock to stand upon in safety, lest I fall
My Earth for growing me and tilling me and sharing with others
My Mountain of protection from the floods of life that try to overtake me
My Bright Star to lead the way when I'm being misdirected
My Sun to guide me out of darkness into Your glorious light
My Moon to keep the light of Your glory illuminating me always
My Universe for your ways are higher than mine ways and
Your thoughts higher than my thoughts
My Galaxy for You are infinite, omnipotent and omnipresent
My Destiny for from the beginning you had predestinated me to do Your will
And in everything I do, I do all to the Glory of You.
My All – For in You everything is complete
Lord You ARE—
Why cry
When repentant steps have been taken
Bask in the stillness of God
When your nerves are shaken
The foe is best at deceiving
When you are believing
The sure promises of God
Why fret
When change is not seen
Why look for evidence
God works in the unseen
Use your faith
Your heart must believe
And you must receive
The sure the promises of God
Why worry
God hears the cries of your heart
He has forgiven
But we must turn from all our wicked ways
To pure and holy living
He has turned to us
In our grief and pain
And His hand will protect us
From this latter rain
And let us remember
The sure promises of God.
Why doubt
He is our solid foundation
And we must never
Accept the world's limitations
Who is the author of fear
God is not the giver of it
And He is not far, but near
Let us shake up principalities
By standing on the
Sure promises of God.
A BETTER PLACE
There's a better place
Where crying is only done
when happiness is too great
A place where there's no rushing or worry
About being late
A place where children can run and be free
A place where misery is never company
A place for you and me
Where no one is ever lonely
A place where love is known
To grow more as it is sown
A place where the biggest choir sings
And all give praise to Jesus, their only king
Where no shelter is needed from the storm
And no hurt has happened to the unborn
With no hurricanes to fear
Where lives have disappeared
And no strongholds or oppression
No sadness or depression
A place for you and me
For all eternity
No hiding from our sins
And no need to make amends
No bitterness inside
From our stubborn, selfish pride
A place for you
A place for me
And all who fulfills their destiny
Heaven, Heaven
Where I long to be
Yes Heaven is the place for me
Heaven, Heaven
The place where I belong
I live here now but Heaven is my home
So as I bow to the mercy seat
I still have a mission here on earth to complete
To do God's will here this very day
To please him in every way
But when this earthly life is through
In heaven is where I'll meet with you.

Peace be still
How can you have peace
When you acting ill
Get back
Get straight
Don't be late
Following your own will
Wanting to kill
Letting your anger rule la
Listen up,
I'm trying to school ya
Though the straight and narrow
Maybe hard for you
Cause you ain't doing
What you supposed to do
You know what I'm saying
Is the truth
Running out on God
Gets very hard
Not looking in the mirror
To see what's wrong
you try to cast down imps
and let em take you down
all around town
walking to and fro
with no where to go
just keeping on
cause you don't have peace
can't stay still
wit ya mind all fried
acting like you da one
that was crucified
Only God cares
All about your woes
But you still running
From your foes
Wake up and see
You got the victory
And think on good things
Like blessings that God brings
In your life
When you're living for him
There is no sink or swim
Come up for air and breathe my friend
On Jesus you can depend
Ride the waves and storms
That comes in your mind
Say it's on, this war is on
And we don't have time
To run away
This is the day for peace
Peace he gives to the makers of it
Overcome by the blood of the lamb
And he will keep your mind sound.
