Fight rules. A boxer may not hit below
the belt, in the back of the head, or strike an opponent who is down, even to one knee. Such actions
are called fouls. Other fouls include kicking, tripping, wrestling, excessive holding, hitting an
opponent's eye with the thumb of the glove, hitting with the forearm or the inside of the glove, butting
with the head, or using the elbows. A boxer who commits a foul is warned by the referee and may lose
points. Too many fouls may result in disqualification.
There will be only 4 rounds, each round will be 3
minutes, each break will be 1 minute.
Everyone will be given a division to fight in mainly
based on their weight. Davison A consists of fighters that weight 100-119pounds. Davison B will consist of
fighters that weight 120-139pounds. Davison C will consist of fighters that weight 140-159 pounds.
Davison D will consist of fighters that weight 160-180 pounds. When you are given a Davison you must try
to stay within the Davison weight limit or you will be disqualified.
The fights will begin around late march or early
April. Last day to sign up is march 15th
