Our Gun Reviews

Hey everyone. Just thought we would review the guns that we have used so far to help out those newbies that are just gettin their first gun.

Tippmann Model 98 Custom

The Model 98c is a very reliable gun. It is great for new kids because it is very easy to maintain and almost impossible to break. This is the gun i would most likely buy for my 7 year old brother because i really wouldnt have to worry about it getting messed up. Its also great for sniping and woodsball or speedball because you can upgrade it to shoot very accurate, very fast, or both. However, for speedball I would suggest getting a spyder because they are more compact to get in close to bunkers and they are also very easy to keep up. Plus every newer model spyder has a double trigger giving it a higher rate of fire than a tippmann stock. You can get a tippmann model 98 custom for around $125 at xpaintball.com or go to your local pro shop.

Spyder Xtra

This review is still in progress because our teamate with the xtra is not here to write the review at this time.

Spyder Esprit

This is a great gun for intermediate players. It is electronic with semi-auto, 3-round burst, and full-auto modes. It can shoot up to 13 balls per second. You get the speed and multiple firing modes of a high end electric, with the pricetag and reliability of a spyder. I got my gun for 109.77 without battery or charger at xpaintball.com but i think that it is up to around 144 now. Still, compare this to the $700-$1800 that you would pay for a higher end electro marker and u have a nice gun for a nice price. I really love this gun almost as much as my old tippmann and definitely recommend it for anybody trying to get an electro gun without paying a high price.
