Freemasonry is an ancient society of craftsmen going back in history to the middle ages and beyond; when the craft of operative Mason builders constructed many of the temples and castles of their time. These proud Masons organized a union of like-minded craftsmen who preserved the special techniques, the traditions, systems of knowledge, and the synbols used in their trade. It has been said that in old England where we have records of Masonry going back to the early seventeenth century, the craft was defined as a " a system of morality, veiled in allegory "( a story) illustrated by symbols.
Master Masons instructed apprentices in these teachings so they could carry on the trade and to preserve the teachings of moral integredy they inherited from men of outstanding character and high ideals; who built the cathedrals, abbeys and castles of the middle ages.
Freemasonry is a fraternal organization dedicated to the principles of Brotherly Love,Relief and Truth.
In Brotherly Love
how a man chooses to practice his personal religious beliefs is left up to him; but Freemasonry recognizes and emphasizes the strong bond which unites all peoples under one creator. Masons come from a wide range of religious backgrounds throughout the world, but each Mason shares a committment to a universal God.
Masons provide Relief
Masons committ to be honest and Truthful
with other people. A mason is faithful to his responsibilities to God, his country, his family, his fellow man and to his moral self. As a Mason, he is always searching for wisdom and understanding ... to grow constantly to be a better person.
The organization of Freemasonry is a fraternity which provides opportunity for men to meet and enjoy friendly companionship according to the spirit of helpfullness and brotherly love. The strict moral principles of the lodge encourages goodwill towards all mankind; and in this environment a Mason is encouraged toward self-improvement in the principles of brotherly love, charity and truth in their daily actions.
An important by product of the Masonic Fraternity is to "make good men better men". The emphasis placed on the individual man by strengthening his character while improving his moral and spiritual outlook, broadens his mental viewpoint in life in general.

You need to know that we do not solicit members. No one will ask you to join; but that does not mean that we aren't interested in seeking qualified men to become brothers-in-the lodge. We believe it is important that a man seeks out the opportunities for Masonic knowledge on his own, without undue pressure or influence from us. We follow the motto " Ask one to be one".
The requirements to be considered for admittance to the Lodge are relatively few, and we'd be pleased to answer any questions you may have. You could seek out the Master of the Lodge, the Lodge Secretary, or any other Master Mason, lodge member to help you. They would be more than pleased to do so. If you are unable to connect with any of the mentioned sources, please feel free to communicate with me using the email address shown at the bottom of each web page. I'll route your questions to the right person promptly. I promise !
