The Fast and the Furious, was for sure one of the years best movie. Unlike some of the other movies that came out this year, this movie actually kept your attention, and it was exciting. There are a few things that make you sit there and say "Oooohhh please". As you should know there is a lot of racing in this movie. If you've actually drag raced before or even watched it you would know that when you drag race one car usually gets a early lead. Then at the end of the race usually one car is quite a bit further from the other. Well in the movie it seems like the cars are always neck and neck through out the whole entire drag race. They change leads the whole way through. Of course this makes for good action, but it sort of takes the realism out of it. Then again, who cares? You don't want to see real life, you're a car guy (or gal)! Let's get some more action and enjoy it.
I am not saying there was no other good movies that came out this year I am simply saying the majority of them. It also had a lot of decent cars in the movie. The point trying to be made here is the only negative thing that came from this movie, is everyone that is 16 is trying to make their car like the cars in the movie. Every where I look I see a riced out import. I have been into import tuning for about 3 or 4 years and it just sucks now to see so many people doing this now. I am not saying it is all bad, because there are people out there that actually know what they are doing, and you can tell by just looking at their car.

It's all about being all show and no go
with the spoiler so high and the chasis so low.
Yet, through the dark tint, and the bright fog-light glow,
I don't need a hint, because I already know,
that despite all the decals and the loud exhaust noise,
it's a gutless car driven by them god-damn rice-boys!
If maneuvering is all you got,
go race around the parking lot.
Don't compete on the street
because your car will get beat
