How I got my Pets

All of my life I have loved German Shepherds, but was never able to get one while living with my parents. In April of 2000, when I bought my first house, I knew one of the first things I would do was to get a GSD. So in May of 2000, I bought my Tushka, a White GSD female from a breeder outside of Baltimore, MD. She was 9 weeks old at the time and already had her ears up! My second dog was Tallan, a beautiful Yorkie. My aunt and I decided one day, being the dog people we are, that we would go to a puppy store JUST to go play with the puppies. As we arrived there, I saw this little tiny Yorkie. I had been thinking of getting a Yorkie lately because I wanted something small to cuddle with and I thought Yorkies are very cute.

These are my pets

So even though, I know better than to buy a puppy from a pet store, I just couldn't leave that little beauty there. Blossom is my third dog. A Black and Tan GSD female. Shortly after acquiring Tushka I started volunteering with the German Shepherd Rescue of Maryland. In November of 2001, I started fostering a 10 weeks old puppy that was dumped in a shelter by the breeder. Well, this foster puppy never left. She was such a wonderful and well behaved puppy that we just fell in love with her and decided to keep her. So I have three dogs, or as I say, two and a half. Although I must say that I have two GSDs and a "Wanna Be" since my Yorkie thinks she's a big, mean GSD too. ;) I love my dogs to death, they are wonderful companions and they make me laugh every day. I don't know what I would do now without any of them.
Update 10/08/2003: Well it is about time I announced my new addition...Sam!!! Sam has become the boy of my life, I love him to pieces and don't know what I would do with out him either.
