The Baltimore City Commission On Aging and Retirement Education ("CARE") assisted in the establishment of a program to provide needed services to Korean-American Seniors in 1992. This program operated from the rented space provided by the Harford Senior Center from 1992 until 1995. The program had to move out of the Harford Senior Center due to its need for more space. The program operated temporally at the basement space of the Hollander Ridge Apartments until November 1995. In 1995 the program moved into the Waxter Center until building project is completed October 23, 2000. The Greenmount Senior Center was renovated the old school building at 425 E. Federal St.
