Hi, and welcome. My name is Chris Barrick. Next fall, I will be a freshman majoring in Percussion Performance at Indiana University. I currently study percussion with Ken Krohn, former percussionist with the United States Navy Band and the Israeli Philharmonic, now on the faculty at Montgomery College. During my high school career, I played percussion for a lot of groups. Such include the Montgomery County Youth Orchestra, the Landon Symphonette, and the Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps, where I play snare drum, as well as other honors/all-state groups throughout the region. I have performed at The Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, and DAR Constitution Hall. I also have been studying piano for 13 years, and am currently studying jazz piano with Bob Sykes, a member of the faculty of the Levine School of Music.
Have a good day!
