the little sweaters!

Cast on 9 stitches with your favorite yarn and appropriate needles.
knit 6 rows of 1,1 ribbing.
knit 6 rows of stockinette.
Increase 5 stitches on each side of the next 2 rows for sleeves, knit 4 rows using all 19 stitches.
In row 15, knit 8 stitches, bind off 3, knit 8 stitches.
Next row, knit 8 stitches, cast on 3, knit 8. This finishes the neck opening.
Knit 4 rows with all 19 stitches, bind off 5 outside stitches on each of the next 2 rows.
Knit 6 rows with only the original 9 stitches, Knit 6 rows of 1,1 ribbing, bind off.
Leave long tails for seaming.

Fold sweater in half, wrong side out and seam up the sides. Turn right side out, use hot glue gun to attach pin back, hang as Christmas ornaments, attach to presents, whatever....

These make 1-2" tall sweaters, depending on which yarn you use. It only takes a few yds of yarn, so is a great use of those tag ends from other projects.

They can be made bigger if you use sock yarn and little needles, it's totally up to you.
