On 3/19/00, I presented this marble sculpture as a gift to my dear friend Roy Hopkins. He was a college professor of mine some twenty years ago who taught me many valuable lessons in life, art, love and being a person. I have fond memories of the times he would invite me and my wife out to his home. We would sit on his sofa and solve the problems of the world with the assistance of his cat, Calvert.
