Funkstown Legion 11, Thompson's Concrete 1: George Casper threw a no-hitter, Dee Stubbs had two hits, including a home run, and Todd Jacobson also had two hits as Funkstown Legion won the league championship
To all the kids on the team, we had a wonderful year and you all played so hard.. You deserve to have the CHAMPIONSHIP..Since the season is over you all still keep your heads held up high cause BOYS we are #1 and no one can take that from us..
I wanted to make a page for Billy

He is an awsome baseball player for being
10 years old..He hit 6 homeruns out of
the ball park during practices..

HIT A GRAND SLAM SON
Well Billy you all won the Championship again this year.
Your the 2002 and 2003 and 2004 Champs.
That has never been done before at American Little League in Hagerstown
And you did hit me that GrandSlam May 5th 2003
You even hit a bunch of Homeruns..
Got some good news in the mail..
Billy made it to the National Hall of Fame for Baseball

Well in the 2004 season Billy hit 12 homeruns out of the park.
He won the Homerun derby at American, went to the Hagerstown Suns and placed 3rd.
Funkstown Legion 7 FOP 5: Billy Springirth hit a grand slam and Nic Martin added two hits to lead Funkstown Legion to its third consecutive league title. Gerald Tonsil homered and Tyrel McKoy had two hits for FOP.
