A Rarity, Indeed!

I was told that this car was rare, which was part of my decision for trading the car. Not too many people bought these turbocharged cars back when they were released in 1991. Subaru continued to produce the car (with a makeover and the addition of a wagon into the lineup in 1992) until 1994. Many Subaru enthusiasts wondered why Subaru of America did not continue its turbocharged technology offerings in the United States after 1994. Looking at some sales figures it's no wonder why Subaru was turned off from bringing a "performance" Subaru to the USDM:

1991 - 58 5-speeds and 149 automatics were sold.
1992 - 6 5-speeds and 5 automatics were sold.
1993 - 25 5-speeds and 45 automatics were sold.
1994 - 170 5-speeds and 230 automatics were sold.

I guess this car's a keeper since it's one of 58 in the US (and that's before taking into account breakdowns and wrecks)!!

Parked on the driveway - nice slant effect!

A front shot at night.

Lights on!!
