Iruel

The girl named "Faith" by a weird circumstance, was forced to live in an orphanage for many years, where Iruel, disguised as a homeless young man, visited her daily. She also had feelings for him but kept her distance for her self doubt and because she felt that if she got close to him, she would end up hurting him... Iruel felt very much the same. most of the time they would talk for hours on end of trivial things.

Iruel feared if God knew about his excursions he would be condemned, so he kept it to himself all except for two of his best comrades. As time slowly crept on, Satan learned of Iruels love and plotted to kidnap her to use Iruel as a pawn.

The day came when Faith was allowed to leave the orphanage. She set out on her own, under the watchful eye of Iruel. As she entered a dark alley she was confronted by a pair of Vampires whom tried to rape and drink her blood, but before they had the chance, Iruel had decimated them utterly. Their blood was sent across the alley violently as he animalisticly ripped them apart... and among all of it, Faith who had only seen the kinder side of her "love" was terrified by him. After he had finished, he tried to explain his actions to her, but she merely ran away from him.

Iruel fell into a bitter depression where he did nothing but his work and sulked to himself. Not long after ward he received a message while on assignment from a daemon, detailing the capture and holding of Faith. Thinking he could guarantee her safety and redeem himself to her, he agreed to do anything Lucifer wanted in exchange for her life. The dark lords’ price was Gods head.

After a quick but mournful acceptance, Iruel took up his favored "blood blade." A weapon forged by his brother Bardiel, The Angel of Blood. He worked hard to get as close to God as possible. He finished all of his assuagements and continued to do so until God had given him a seat on the highest quire of angels, his personal guard and assistants.

It wasn't long before Iruel tried his hand and struck at God, only to be thwarted by a pair of angels and Limitatron (the Voice of God). The two angels were ironicaly the ones whom he had told of Faith. After a quick battle, God asked Iruel for his reasons with a smirk.

Starting from the beginning, Iruel told him the whole story. Gods smirk turned to a smile and then a laugh when he heard it. The supreme being told the angel of Fear that he ha known about the woman long ago and even knew of her being taken away and Iruels pact with Satan.

Iruel, angered and confused asked God why he hadn't helped Iruel... and God merely replied that

"It was to amusing."

To this Iruel lunged but was thrashed repeatedly by the three angels and his wings were torn from his body.
He was thrown to hell when he learned that Faith had been tortured to death even before Iruel had made the deal. For years the Fallen Angel, turned daemon was tortured and maimed by the minions of hell....

...Until one day... he heard the call of a depressed and dreary man at the Gates of Hell. Using all his strength he tore himself away from Hell and into the world of the living. Here he possessed the body of a dead man and lay in wait for a time when he could be released again, to be free, and to get revenge.
