On November 12, 1922 at Butler University in Indiana, seven young educators came together with a vision of "Greater Service, Greater Progress" and formed Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.  Their legacy of service, commitment, and passion for education lives on in Sigma women.
