Just remember you cowards "These colors
don't run!"
American's will forever be united, you can't
take that away. You only made us stronger! |

The United States of America
was attacked thru a horrific
act of terrorism. This cowardly act has effected American's in a way that
words can not explain. The loss of so many American brothers and sisters in
such a short time is just, well... there are no words to explain this.
We Will Never Forget!
To all the victims,
heroes and the families hurt by this tragedy we offer our condolences,
our love and our thoughts and prayers
. And to everyone around the world sharing in our grief, thank you.
Lots of love to all,

The Power of Freedom
I know you're
celebrating
what your evil deeds have wrought
But with the devastation
something else you've also brought
For nothing is more powerful
than Americans who unite
Who put aside their differences
and for freedom fight
Each defenseless victim whose
untimely death you caused
And every fallen hero
whose brave life was lost
Has only served to strengthen
our national resolve
Each freedom-loving citizen
will surely get involved
You've galvanized our nation
into a force so strong
We'll end your reign of terror
although the fight is long
For every heart that's broken
ten million will stand tall
and every tear that's falling
is the mortar for it all
And when this war is over
one thing I know is sure
Our country will be greater
and our freedom will endure
|
So do you think you can tell heaven from hell, blue skies
from pain?
So do you think we can change everybody that hates before it's to late?
We don't need any more pain.
No more losing our friends or losing ourselves.

Pictures from our trip to New York
City 3/9/02 |
Little Eyes
a child cried
as their world was blown apart
no one saw the enemy
and the darkness in their hearts
little eyes watched
as a city fell to it's knees
enemies didn't hear their cries
and they didn't bear their pleas
mommy and daddy
will never be the same
little hearts are scared
the world has gone insane
what do we tell our children
what can we possibly say
how do you explain hatred
in a kind and gentle way
children don't sleep soundly
they don't go out and play
my little girls cry
and I can only pray

My reasons for starting this site:
It's been so hard dealing with this tragedy, just like it has
been for everyone. I felt so helpless and wanted so much to do more. Other than prayer, blood and money what more was there? The next morning after the attack of September 11, 2001 a good friend who
writes poetry called to read her poem to me. I loved it and asked for her
permission to put it on the internet. And for me it was my way of helping, by sharing
this poem to the world. Since then she has written another poem. You can view them
both below.
Thank you Diana!

The American's Creed
"I believe in the United States of America as
a Government of the people by the people, for the people, whose just powers
are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a Republic; a
sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect Union, one and
inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality,
justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and
fortunes.
I therefore believe it is my duty to my Country to
love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws; to respect its flag,
and to defend it against all enemies."

God Bless America, Again. You see all the trouble that
she’s in. Wash her pretty face, dry her eyes and then… God Bless America,
Again.
Dear God, I sure do wish you’d bless America again,
you know like you did way back when it all began. You blessed her then but we
just sort of kind of took it for granted and never asked again. So just hold her
hand god that’s all, and if she should stumble please don’t let her fall.

How we can help
"Everyone I've talked to in the past few days
has shared a common frustration, saying in one form or another,
"I just wish I could do something! "You are already doing
it. Just keep faith in America, and continue to support your
President and military, and the outcome is certain. If we fail to do
so, the outcome is equally certain. God Bless America."

Lt Col, USAF (Ret)
Former Director of Military History, USAF Academy.

Fly
the flag to show your support and unity
with the victims and emergency workers of this tragedy.
Show your respect for the people who lost their lives simply because
they were Americans, and the rescuers who gave their lives trying to save their fellow
Americans. If you don't have a place to fly a flag, hang a small one in a
window or in your car.
Keep a flag in the window until we have justice for our people.
Print
