I started making ponds when I was about 11 years old. My friend and I started out by digging a hole in my parents backyard big enough to put a baby pool in it. And That was my first pond!
I have advanced somewhat since then. lol. A few years after owning my own home I made yet another pond and another. It's a great hobby and very relaxing. The children love to see all the wild life that goes along with  ponds. Our pond sits directly in the middle of my butterfly garden and it's quite a beautiful garden. there's nothing more relaxing than watching the pond with all the butterflies flying around.
