Items
These are the items found in the game with their uses.
Axe- The axe is used for long distance big guys since the aim isn't so good. The axe is very good when used against the Orphic Vipers and Koranot. It has the same power as the whip. It takes one heart to use.
Dagger- Also known as the butter knife because it's power is really bad probably as bad as the rope whip. It is however the fastest weapon and it shoots straight across the screen. It take one heart to use.
Rosary- Just get this and it kills all enemies on the screen.
Boomerang- The boomerang goes across the screen and then comes back it is go for use against Akmodan II, Medusa, The Monster, Sir Grakul's Armor and that's about it. It takes one heart to use.
Holy Water- The holy water is thrown a short distance in front of you and stays on the ground for a bit hitting anything in it's way. This is used for any boss that walks slowly along the ground. It takes one heart to use.
Stop Watch- The stop watch stops all enemies on the screen for a short period of time. It cannot be used on bosses. It takes 5 hearts to use.
Crystal Ball- Gotten when a boss is beat except Puweyxil and Medusa. Allows you to go to the next stage.
1 UP- Gives you an extra life.
Jar- Looks like a jar and gives you invincibility for a short while.
Double Shot- Allows you to shoot two of something at a time.
Triple Shot- Allows you to shoot three of something at a time.
Chain Whip- Looks like a metal thing. Changes your rope whip to a chain whip giving it more power and getting it a second time makes it even longer. Simon's main weapon.
Chicken Bone- Fills about 5 bars of life.
Pot Roast- Fills almost all your life.
Money Bag- Gives you an amount of points which is shown on the screen.
Hearts- The currency which lets you use weapons. A little heart gives you one heart and a big one gives you five.
