Yet the Lord will command His loving-kindness in the day time, and in the night His song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life. Psalms 42:8

Here's one of my early works. The Lord gave this song to me as I gazed out at the moon and its reflection on the Mediterranean Sea when I visited Israel several years ago. Just the mere privilege of being in the Holy Land was a great blessing and I was grateful to God for all He had done for me and for accepting me just as I am:

Impossible. Not easy

To change a real wretch like me

But You Lord have saved me

And placed me on the list for eternity

Lo Your grace and mercy and love for all

For us all. None left at all

And yes You shed Your blood for us and died

But took victory over the grave

So I could come before You just as I am

I know Your Word is true

So lowly, so focused

As humbly as one can come

The precious and holy Word

You've placed before me

I can grasp the tender words written in it

All in it. Just in it.

And to my heart all touched and blessed

Teach me all I must say

So I can come before You just as I am

The good times. The bad times.

All is great in Your time.

The lonely and sad times

All for Your purpose

I need to know You true Lord

For me Lord. The world Lord,

And for those You would have me to love

Of the hearts I touch each day

So I come before You just as I am
