What is the Piedmont Pacers Volksmarch Club?

We are one of more than 350 American Volkssport Association (AVA) Clubs who sponsor Volkssporting Events...walks, bikes, swims and ski events. We are located in Carroll County, which encompasses endless vistas of scenic rolling hills, woodlands and quaint farmlands in north central Maryland.

Our walks are open to everyone and the events are free to persons who wish to participate without award or IVV credit. (Those who register for award and IVV credit are charged a nominal fee to cover expenses.) All walkers are asked to register and obtain a start card. Children under twelve must be accompanied by an adult at all times. As always, we welcome new members, but you do not have to join a club to participate in our events or enjoy volksmarching.
