The Knights opened up their season with a County meet at Chesapeake High School. The team faced Arundel, Broadneck, Chesapeake, Northeast, and Southern. The girls team placed 2nd behind a very deep Broadneck squad. Kelsey Scheitlin(21:26) placed 6th to lead the team. Heather Werner(22:55) was followed closely by Heather Mullen(23:00). Amanda Johnson(24:31) and April Penn(24:48) and rounded out the top 5 with Christine Stagg(24:59) right behind. Lisa Weammert and Melissa Dolen also competed for the Knights.

The guys team placed 5th. They were led by Tim Pratt who took 7th place by running 17:16 over the 5000 meter course. Ben Dolen(20:08) and Joe Wojchiekowski(20:10) ran 2-3 for the Knights. Bryan Krueger(20:32) and Mike Bradford(20:30) were 4 & 5. Haroon Ahmad(21:04) was 6th for the team and Usman Ahmad(24:57) was 7th. Sam Ruth also ran well. The Knight's next meet is the Knight's Invite on September 15th at Baybrrok Park.
