The Knights started off their season with a four-team meet versus Severna Park, Broadneck and Southern at home. The team looked very strong their first time out. The Knights were led by Chris Scott in the 110-high hurdles, 300 intermediates hurdles, 100 dash and the relays.Most of the team ran in 3-4 events and looked very strong. Chiwuzie Odunukwe ran in the 100 dash, 400, and the 4 X 400 despite being sick.Jerome Goodman was in the high jump, 4 X 200, and 4 X 400. Shawn Freshwater ran in the 100, 200, and the relays while Nat Randall participated in the long and triple jumps and the relays. Steve Jacobs won the 1500 (4:35), and the 3000 (9:44), placed 3rd in the 800, and ran on a 4 X 400. Tim Pratt placed 3rd in the 1500 (4:39), 3rd in the 3000 (10:11) and ran on a 4 X400. Justin Brown was in the 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles, and jumps while Justin Szech was in the pole vault and the relays. Eugene Gaither was 3rd in the 400, 1st in the 800, and on the winning 4 X 400 relay.

The girls team was led by Kelsey Scheitlin who won the 1500 and also ran in the 400 and relays. Heather Werner won the 800 and also ran the 400 and relays. Brielle Jones ran well in the hurdles and the relays. Selene Jenkins ran well in the 100, 200 and relays. The entire girls team ran well this meet.
