The Knights participated in the 4A/3A Regional Championships against top teams from Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Carroll County, and Harford County. The Knights qualified for the State Championships with all 3 relay teams. The 4 X 800 relay team of Steve Jacobs, Tom Krueger, Eugene Gaither, and Tim Pratt placed 4th behind strong teams from Westminster, Mervo, and C.M Wright. The 4 X 200 relay team of Kevin Webber, Kenny Kasubinski, Chiwuzie Odunukwe, and Justin Szech placed 4th. The 4 X 400 relay team of Kenny Kasubinski, Tom Krueger, Chiwuzie Odunukwe, and Eugene Gaither placed 2nd. Chiwuzie Odunukwe placed 5th in the 500 and 6th in the 300. Chris Scott placed 1st in the 300 and was 5th in the high jump. Justin Szech placed 4th in the pole-vault. Justin Brown placed 5th in the 55-hurdles.

The girls team was led by Brielle Jones who placed 5th in the 55-hurdles. Ebonnie Weathers placed 5th in the high-jump. Rhandi James placed 6th in the 500. The 4 X 200 team of Kelsey Scheitlin, Rhandi James, Selene Jenkins, and Brielle Jones placed 6th in the 4 X 200. The 4 X 800 relay team of Kelsey Scheitlin, Heather Werner, Rhandi James and Selene Jenkins placed 6th.
