The Anne Arundel County Championships were at the Armory on Friday on a single days notice and Old Mill guys and Arundel girls came away with a County Championship. North County was led by Chris Scott, who took first in the 55-dash(6.7), 55-hurdles(7.5), and 300-dash(37.8). He also took second in the high-jump(5-10).Chiwuzie Odunukwe won the 500 meters in 1:11.9 and came in 5th in the 300, as well as running on the 4 X 400 team and the 4 X 200 team. The 4 X 400 team of Kevin Webber, Kenny Kasubinski, Chiwuzie Odunukwe, and Eugene Gaither placed first in the County. The 4 X 800 relay team of Steve Jacobs, Eugene Gaither, Tom Krueger, and Tim Pratt placed 4th in the County. The 4 X 200 relay team of Kevin Webber, Kenny Kasubinski, Chiwuzie Odunukwe, and placed 5th. Justin Szech took 4th in the pole-vault, clearing a height of 10 feet, and Steve Jacobs placed 5th in the 3200 with a time of 10:54.
The lady Knights had a 6th place finish in the Anne Arundel County Championships. They were led by Rhandi James who placed 2nd in the 500 (1:26.3) and also ran on the 4 X 800, 4 X 200, and 4 X 400. Kelsey Scheitlin place 5th in the 500 (1:29.8) and also ran on the 4 X 800 and 4 X 400. Linda Parks placed 3rd in the pole-vault. The 4 X 800 team of Kelsey Scheitlin, Heather Werner, Rhandi James, and Selene Jenkins place 4th. The 4 X 200 relay placed 4th and the 4 X 400 placed 5th. Brielle Jones scored in the hurdles and Ebonnie Weathers scored in the high-jump.
