North County travelled to Westminster to run in an unscheduled meet and ran better than expected against some tough competition. The Knights took 2nd place as a team. The Knights were led by Chris Scott who took 1st in the dash and the 300, and 2nd in the hurdles. Chiwuzie Odunukwe, despite taking a nasty fall in the 300, came back to finish 2nd in the 500, and run great in the relays. Kenny Kasubinski took 3rd in the dash and ran two great legs in the 4 X 1 Lap relay, and the 4 X 400. Eugene Gaither ran a good 500 taking 5th place overall, and ran two good relays. Justin Szech had another good day pole vaulting. Justin Brown got 5th in the hurdles. The Knights showed there depth by loading up the relays and being competitive in every race.
The girls team was led by Kelsey Schietlin taking 2nd in the 500 and Heather Werner who had a 6th place finish in the 500. Linda Parks scored in the pole vault and Ebony Weathers took 2nd in the high jump. Selene Jenkins ran a a fast 500 and led off the 4 X 1 Lap relay with a fast 1st leg.
