The Knights are looking to have another successful outdoor track season with the return of many top athletes. The Knights will be led by defending State Champion in the high jump, Jerome Goodman. The team is also being led by three-time County Champion, Chris Scott in the hurdles and the sprints. Indoor County Champion in the 500, Chiwuzie Odunukwe is looking to score points in the sprints and relays. Kenny Kasubinski, member of the County Champion 4 X 400 relay team indoor, will play a role in the sprints and relays. Other members returning include: Eugene Gaither, member of County Champion 4 X 400. Kevin Webber, member of County Champion 4 X 400. Nat Randall, long and triple jump. John Cargo, high jump, shot-put and dicus. Steve Jacobs, placed 5th in the county indoor 3200. Justin Szech, 4th in county and region in the pole-vault and member of 4 X 200 relay. Justin Brown in the hurdles. Tim Pratt in the distance events and Tom Krueger in the middle-distance events. Other returning members include Ben Dolin in the distance events, Heroon Ahmad in the distance events and Rory Rollins and Sam in the distance events.The team also has several promising newcomers including Don Horensky in the middle-distance events and Carl Bowie in the sprints.
The girls team will have many returning athletes. Rhandi James, placed 6th in the region in the indoor 500 and was also a member of the 4 X 200, 4 X 400, and 4 X 800. Kelsey Scheitlin in the middle distance events and on the the relays. Heather Werner in the middle distance events and on the relays. Selene Jenkins will be in the sprints and some relays. Tanika Sewell is returning in the high jump along with Ebonnie Weathers. Brielle Jones is returning in the hurdles and Meghan McNichol is returning in the distance events. The girls team has a lot of newcomers with some potential.
