These rankings are based on how good I think the teams are. I don't care how they ran on September 23 or whenever. They are based on how they have run recently because that's more of an indication of how they could run at Nationals than how they ran a month-and-a-half ago. These are the 31 teams that I think are the best and should go to Nationals regardless of At-Large points.

1) Colorado- Destroyed their conference and ran strong at Mountain Regional

2) Providence- Won the tough Big East Conference and the Northeast Regional over Iona

3 Stanford- Won Pac-10 Conference and Western Regional despite not running whole team

4 Arkansas- Won the SEC over Alabama and the South Central Regional while resting their top guys

5 Georgetown- Edged out by Providence in Big East Championship but won Mid-Atlantic Regional

6 Wisconsin- Won Big Ten's and Great Lakes Regional

7 Arizona- Finished runner-up in Pac-10 to Stanford and only 4 points behind split Stanford squad at Western Regional.

8 Oklahoma State- Recovered from Big 12's with win in Mid-West Regional

9 Alabama- Finished runner-up to Arkansas at SEC's and won Southern Regional

10 Iona- Won their conference easily and placed runner-up to Providence in Northeast Regional

11 Eastern Michigan- Won their conference and placed runner-up to Wisconsin in Great Lakes Regional

12 William & Mary- Won their conference and the Southeast Regional over NC State and Duke

13 BYU- won their conference and placed runner-up to Colorado in Mountain Regional

14 Northern Arizona- Won their conference but placed 3rd in Mountain Regional.

15 NC State- Placed runner-up to Duke at ACC but beat them in Southeast Regional.

16 Villanova- Recovered from poor Big East showing by placing runner-up to Georgetown in Mid-Atlantic Regional

17 Duke- Won the ACC but placed 3rd in Southeast Regional

18 Texas- Placed runner-up to Arkansas at South Central Regional

19 Missouri- Placed runner-up to Oklahoma State at Mid-West Regional

20 St. Francis(PA)- Won their conference and placed 3rd in Mid-Atlantic Regional over Penn State and Princeton

21 Weber State- 2nd in Big Sky Conference behind Northern Arizona and 4th in Mountain Regional

22 Indiana- 2nd in Big 10's but 4th in Great Lakes Regional

23 Oregon- 2nd in Pac-10 Championships and 4th in West Regional

24 Cal Poly- 3rd in West Regional

25 Notre Dame- Placed 3rd in Great Lakes Regional

26 South Florida- Won their conference and placed 2nd to Alabama in Southern Regional

27 Penn State- Placed 3rd at Big 10's but 4th at Mid-Atlantic Regional

28 Dartmouth- Won Heptagonal Championship and placed 3rd at Northeast Regional

29 -Arizona St.- 4th at Pac-10 Championships but 5th in West Regional

30 Colorado St.- 2nd in Mountain West Conference behind BYU and 5th in Mountain Regional

31 Florida- 3rd in South Regional
