The Prince George ’sCounty Office of the Sheriff is currently seeking qualified applicants to be considered for the position of Deputy Sheriff Private. The Office of the Sheriff is seeking men and women that exhibit characteristics of good character, sound judgement, honesty, reliability, and integrity.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

The typical duties of a Deputy Sheriff Private include: general law enforcement and investigations; serving civil processes; controlling warrants and summonses; serving summonses/warrants and/or extraditing persons wanted on criminal summonses or warrant; executing writs/court orders; transporting prisoners to and from various institutions and courts throughout the State of Maryland and the United States; maintaining security in the courtrooms in the Circuit Courts; monitoring prisoners in holding areas; writing reports; and providing effective and efficient services to the citizens of Prince George’s County. Shift work, which includes weekends and holidays, is required.

        I represent a company that is interested in immediately filling a
newly created position of Security Manager in their Gulf States
Division, based in Harahan, Louisiana. The area of responsibility will
include Sales and/or Distribution centers in Louisiana, southwest Mississippi
and Arkansas, and northeast Texas.

        The individual who fills this position should have: prior experience
in law enforcement or corporate security; the ability to conduct both
internal and external fraud and theft investigations; the ability to liaise
with local law enforcement and prosecutors; and be computer literate.

        Salary will be in the $70,000 per annum range. Additional
remuneration includes a corporate benefits package and a vehicle for travel,
or reimbursement for travel via personally owned vehicle, at the company's
discretion.

        The company will not reimburse expenses in connection with an
interview or relocation.
