This is my Brother Robert Barret Browning. He left this world much to soon and though I have passed him in age he will always be my "Big Brother".
I have created a lot of neat patterns on my site and throughout my hobby, but this technique has inspired me the most. By taking a picture of a loved one frozen in time I am able to convert it into what you see above. You would not go out and buy a likeness of someone elses family member, but you would do whatever it takes to get hold of a pattern of one of your own. Just when you thought that you have seen it all in scroll sawing, along comes someone with a new and exciting idea to further enhance your enjoyment of the craft. I challenge all to come forward with these ideas and let others learn and develop them in their own way. If locked away and forgotten these ideas are useless. Rather than waiting for someone to dig up the idea again I choose to get the word out so people can keep it alive. The best way I feel I can accomplish this is to write a book about it. I will explain the technique and show you the tools needed to make excellent patterns that will amaze even you. How you use the technique and build upon its fundamentals is up to you. I will include some quality patterns that I have generated using the very technique I talk about. It will give you a chance to prove to yourself that you can cut such a piece out before you get into creating patterns of your family, friends or pets.
