December 01, 2001    Today's set is inspired by a christmas set I saw at digital tapestries created by Winter Thyme called Christmas #2. Since the preset fill tool I used on the colors is called snowman 3 (photo impact fill gallery) I guess we can call this one a winter set since I don't do holidays.  How: First I picked out a web suit from a dingbat set called FF web suits then I put it on my blank canvas applied a home made photo impact 6 preset converted text to image and with the layer still highlighted I erased all the stuff I didn't want. Then I added lines with my preset color in them from the shape tool that completes the inside of the frame image. For the outside I went back to the text tool added the same dingbat file and repeated the steps above to get a different piece of the image. I added more lines to complete the outside and then with nothing selected I used the magic fill gallery tool to add the multicolored flood. Here comes the tedious bit, with nothing selected I used the paint brush to clean out the area where my text would be then I merged all and saved as .psd to bring over to paint shop pro for grid slicing. Because slicing an image doesn't always give you the exact effect you want I had to reopen all the little images throw out all the solid pinks and piece the frame back together in order to fit in my 3 column 3 row table.
