I pledge to change my ways,
Mold myself to lead better days.
I will cut my chains of anger and hate.
Live with those and seal your fate.
I understand this purpose on earth,
It started when a baby from Bethlehem came to birth.
He came to save us from our sins,
Without Him in your life, nobody wins.
Yes it's true Jesus is the only way,
This world needs him, for that I pray.
Trials and tribulations can leave you in dismay,
But strive for God and He'll work with you day by day.
Don't regret the life you live,
Organize yourself, you have more to give.
Reach inside your inner-self,
Pull down the dusty items off your back shelf.
Memories and past times needing mending,
Deal with them, it's your conscience your bending.
Release your grudges and bitter hate;
To this most people can relate.
Don't live your life in regret,
Goodness and love you should never forget.
If we live in pain and sorrow,
There's not much hope for your life tomorrow.
Grasp your life and pull out the glitches,
Don't set your goals on fame, glory, and riches.
You're here to pursue Christianity,
If you're not, you're living a life of vanity.
