Love is measured by value and degree,
bestowing levels of low and mighty.
Some love to an extreme,
some love as the truth of a dream.
Others cherish impressionable things,
to one real joy cannot bring.
A man may love a woman with all his power,
another may only love for lusts hour.
A husband may love his wife forever,
another may know love never.
A woman may sincerely love her man,
another may take adulteries hand.
Some may love silver and gold,
others seek the ways to never grow old.
One may favor a friend over a brother,
others may hate one and love another.
Often one may measure love by gain,
many will know with love there is pain.
There's only one who loves without measure,
not by strength, nobility or treasure.
For with equality and perfection,
with no favor or objection.
This love comes from the almighty God above,
with precious adoration for all knowing not the scale of love.
