The Collection

A very wise Master sat back in His favorite chair,
smiling at the craftsmanship beyond all compare.
This particular collection was not one of silver and gold,
but a precious collection that would never be sold.
For He paid the price for them long, long ago,
back when man lived without hope of redemption, as they ran with the wayward to and fro.
The price was paid with flesh and blood on a cross,
to save the condemned for their lives of loss.
So He continually gazed at the beauty of their songs,
giving Him the worship and praise where its always belonged.
For this precious hobby was one of life and forever,
one crafted with meticulous hands of their Master so clever.
Content and very satisfied with His collection complete,
of glories singing, praising hands and dancing feet.
He looked over at His precious Son the Lamb,
and said, "You see this was all apart of my perfect plan".
The Lamb responded, "Yes Father, it's a beautiful sight,
manifested by your omnipotence, glory and might".
"Yes, we've done well my Son, so very well,
for we've won the victorious battle over the dominion of hell".
The Lamb said, "I wonder how Lucifer's enjoying his ride?"
"He knew long ago the consequences of his evil pride".
"Well with our collection complete let's relish the glory,
for eternity we'll reign in this never ending story".
"Father it's beautiful, our precious family of perfection,
forever has just begun as we have finally completed the collection!"
"Amen, Son, Amen!"
