Rest In Your Peace

I’m crying unto you my God to deliver me from pain,
I know My Lord, up until now I’ve lived my life in vain.
I surrender to you and await your call,
To you my Lord I will serve and give you my all.

I’m sorry for turning away from you all these years,
I beg of you Lord deliver me from my agony and dry my lonely tears.
I need you Lord now and forever by my side,
In you Lord I vow to always confide.

At the beginning of each day I will call upon your name,
To give me guidance, and for you to constantly dwell within my domain.
I surrender all to you my God, now and forever,
And your word and truth in me I will greatly treasure.

Through trial and error I’ve become wise,
I’ve learned to tune out many of the deceivers’ lies.
Blind and destructive was my way in life,
Living in frustration, anger, deceit and mental strife.

Now I love to love and yearn for wisdom,
Looking forward to that grand day I will enter into your mighty kingdom.
Surrendered into your will I have become,
When I come to you Lord, please give me the premium.

Please my God dwell in me mightily,
So I may illuminate your love, brightly.
I thank you Lord for your love and forgiveness,
In you I desire nothing more than to be a vigilant witness.

For you my Lord my faith and love will never cease,
And finally beside you Jesus, I rest in your peace.
