Praise God! for His tender mercies,

for all the times He suppressed His wrath!

Praise God! for this perfect peace,

for bringing all my anxiety to pass!

Praise God! for His precious blood,

which has washed me whiter than snow!

Praise God! for the wondrous things He's done,

for His grace is sufficient I know!

Praise God! for His endless love,

which warms our hearts at night!

Praise God! for He is so beautiful,

for unfolding our darkness to light!

Praise God! for His mighty hands,

which gently lead our way!

Praise God! for this freedom within,

a joy beyond what words can say!

Praise God! for He is more than worthy,

to receive honor and praise from our lips!

Praise God! for deliverance from sin, hidden beyond salvation’s eclipse! Praise God! Praise God! Praise God!

Glory to this awesome King!

Praise God! for He's a Revolutionizer,

this is why my mouth must sing! Praise God! for what He's done for you, for all the love, the joy, and peace!

Praise God! forever and beyond,

may His praise from your heart, never cease!

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is
