Shadows of deception lurk beyond truth,
agonizing memories revive pains from youth.
Choices of chance, profit, loss,
unfolding goodness or regretful cost.
Emotions hindered by clasped pain,
revolving doors of empty gain.
Gripping forces of evil and good,
confusing weakness verses strength that could.
Unfolding possibilities of corruption or virtue,
unknown results that could help or hurt you.
Powerful battles of flesh and spirit,
doubting thoughts of trust or fear it.
Realms of the forces that war,
against your destination they hope for.
Good and evil rage against ones mind,
what to do and how to find.
Grasping for better or for worse,
choosing freedom or binding curse.
The straight and narrow or the road that is wide,
life or death, only you can decide.
Trials and tribulation will find you,
paths of the old or ones to the new.
Vital choices of where you will dwell,
after death in heaven or hell.
Life through Jesus Christ or death by Satan,
only one choice is right the other mistaken.
The choice is yours, be sure to understand,
Hold fast to victory which is in Christ's hand.
