A chaotic life often leads to a downfall,
Times of joy and peace may become difficult to recall.
Over the edge many feel they have been thrown,
And then the value of life they decide to disown.
When a young bird tries to fly for the first time,
Back up the tree he might have to climb.
But he does not give up just because of failure,
He knows he will soon soar because his faith in his mother is secure.
Even if we experience troubles and heartache,
That does not mean that to this world you are a mistake,
God loves us all and wants to dwell in us,
But we must never doubt Him, always trust.
We need to put aside ourselves when we come to our end,
For there lies greater hope and life just around the bend.
I thought I could not go on after my stumble,
But now I know it’s the Lord teaching me to be humble.
I now acknowledge Him in all that I do,
And then confide in Him at night when the day is through.
Abiding in Jesus fills my heart with joy and peace,
Now I know in Him my faith will never cease.
God corrects those He knows and loves,
He is always watching and guiding from above.
If we wander too far from His will and way,
He will not allow us long to disobey.
He stands right behind us not seeking to harm,
But for us to turn back and fall in His arms.
So if you ever see and wonder why I’m grinning,
It’s because good came from bad and in my Lord I have a new beginning.
