MILLIONS OF CRIES
There is a man traveling down the road
Praying and crying for those with a heavy load
For the little ones who have faded into the mist
For the mothers who wonder what they missed
There are millions of cries that go upon the wind
They are the innocent and those who have sinned
In a quiet house a few blocks up the street
There lives a woman that you must meet
She's in pain for just around the bend
She hears her baby cry, the life that she did end
There are millions of cries that go upon the wind
They are the innocent and those who have sinned
In a park in the middle of the city
On a bench is a woman you must pity
She watches the children run and play
And wonders if her child would be like they
There are millions of cries that go upon the wind
They are the innocent and those who have sinned
There is a building here in your town
A mother to be; crying without a sound
Someone please help me her eyes plead
Her and a little one soon will bleed
There are millions of cries that go upon the wind
They are the innocent and those who have sinned
There are so many small ones up in heaven
They are so happy and wish you forgiven
Let us join together, you and me
And allow these innocents to BE
There are millions of cries that go upon the wind
They
are the innocent and those who have sinned
