Life is extremely precious,
	something often taken for granted,
		I see it in a new beauty now,
			a gift beyond enchanted.
There was a certain time,
	in a dark and lonely place,
		when I beheld this life,
			as some wretched, gruesome race.
But the tides now have risen,
	lifting me to an awesome new height,
		for Jesus has taken my hand,
			leading me in faith beyond my sight.
His love is so enchanting,
	I know no greater wealth,
		for I've been rejuvenated,
			with glorious, spiritual health.
Now I take each day,
	as a blessing from above,
		cherishing each dear second,
			with my newfound, precious love.
Christ has made me see,
	what this life is really for,
		for He's softened my heart,
			and lives beyond its door.
Now by this love He's shown,
	gives me vital purpose and duty,
		for I must share the truth,
			of His blessed, wondrous beauty.
For now I know I'm special,
	and that I am someone,
		who no longer walks alone,
			for my victory, He's won!
So now I have a journey,
	in which I know I'll perservere,
		for I have comfort and strength,
			for His loving whispers, I now can hear.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities;
Who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with
