I Am Someone

I used to feel like nothing,

no value, use or need.

Just the black sheep forsaken,

another real bad seed.

Yet Jesus found me lost,

granting purpose to me.

Once bound by chains of sin,

though love set me free.

Today I am a man,

a brother of God’s son.

As I rejoice in the blessings,

for now I am someone!
