Desensitized

Seldom do we see tears forming in someone’s eyes,
When another feels pain or the tragedy when someone dies.
Many laugh at the sight of disaster and rebellion,
Do you still have compassion or tender emotion?

I cannot conceive why people show little care,
When someone is hurt and in wretched despair.
Many are caught up withholding pitiful selfishness,
Not caring to love and to be sincere enough to caress.

Submission to the God of the universe is in part,
That many deny the existence of Him in their hearts.
Love and care is in the vital needs of all,
Without this, one often takes a great downfall.

I’m not trying to set myself on a pedestal,
But I truly believe without sensitivity one has the heart of a fool.
When one falls to the ground by accident,
Don’t make it the main attraction of a comic event!

When one gets hurt in anyway, shape or form,
We should all feel in our heart their painful storm.
Yes, unfortunately this is something I have realized,
That shamefully this world is becoming desensitized
