Waves of change crashed upon my ways,
crushing the pride with its blinding haze.
Tossed into the depths of darkness by my own decree,
bound by its domain with no light to see.
Smothered by the sands of tragic creation,
suffering the hand of righteous indignation.
Suddenly the waves departed as the light shined through,
my blanket of pain as He came into view.
Although the light was not of vision,
it was upon my hardened heart as He made the incision.
He broke through the shell and began to break away,
the mortar of times past blended with sinful decay.
He breathed life back into the dead,
as the oppressing demons frantically fled.
Love shone upon me beyond description,
as I felt the breeze of divine intuition.
I found myself split open wide,
as He reached down and planted a seed inside.
He wrapped me up with love and grace,
sending showers of mercy and the light of His face.
A sprout came to surface and formed a flower,
as I felt the touch of His healing power.
Forgiveness was given from the past I had sown,
as God brought life from within a broken stone.
