Where to go, what to do, how to know, what to say,
what about this, what about that,
so many worries fill the minds of God's children,
so much confusion, so much to distract.
Don't you know, that almighty God, the Alpha, the Omega,
the beginning and the end,
that He is your awesome, Master, Provider, Healer,
Restorer, Uplifter and Friend?
It's so selfish for us as believers to fill our minds with
anxiety, worry and grief,
for we are only welcoming the filth ridden snake to
slither inside our door and dine with the master thief.
God is all knowing, all powerful, omnipotent,
omnipresent, caring and all love.
He is right beside you, every moment, everyday,
every year with the angels above.
Don't fret, don't worry, don't deny, don't defy, don't you see?
He is the God of all and forever and ever will always be.
Submit to His will, crucify your flesh, don't walk by sight,
for only by our faith will He guide you everyday, every night.
Yes, we must walk by faith not by sight, for if we walked
by sight we would stumble and fall.
We would not be victors, we would be the defeated,
we would be deaf to God's voice and not hear His call.
We would worm our way through the muck and mire,
and our gruesome destination would be Hell's fire.
For by faith we are saved, not by works, not by wealth,
not by wisdom, not by might,
we are saved by Jesus, God's grace and mercy,
for faith alone and nothing by sight!
So when the winds of worry and doubt begin to blow,
stand strong on the Rock of your faith in almighty God and be still and know.
Psalm 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among
the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
