"To  every  thing  there  is a season,

and  a  time  to  every purpose under the

heaven"  (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

Observe  the  descending  elegance of the gentle snow, how

soundly   he  carpets  the  deadened  landscape with his pureness

white.  How  marvelous  his  soothing  tenderness  nourishes the

apparent  cessation  of  life.   Indeed  soon it shall melt away,

this  pristine  grandeur,  though  return  he will, once again to

faithfully  purify  the  cold and bitter land.  And the aftermath

of  this  cleansing  baptism,   fertile  land  shall revive, plush

fields  shall  sway  in  praise, blossoms of speckled white shall

again  wear their majesty, as the land's magnificence is restored

succeeding  the  harshness  of  Winter's  justice.  Yet may it be

that  death  will  first  devour,  life  as well shall soon reign

in it's place, following the snow's purging imperium.  And change

must  come,  to  ensure  the  continuance  of life's breath.  For

it  is  a  season  of  purpose,  demanding the revival of  life's

slumber.   Hence  we  behold  a  portrait  of the cleansing blood

of  Christ  Jesus  our  Lord.  And amidst the seasonal changes of

our  lives,  disregarding the many mountains and valleys, He will

again  and  again  faithfully purify the brokenness of our hearts

with  His  unfailing  mercy  and  grace.  And may the bite of our

pernicious  ways be painfully rectified by His swift hand, change

will  most  assuredly  abound.   For  "though  [our] sins be   as

scarlet,  they  shall  be white as snow", and by His love we will

know the luster of His presence.  And amidst the time of restora-

tion,  endure with patience the course of spring.  Ever relishing

the  splendor  beneath  it's glory, for "the Sun of righteousness

[shall] arise with healing in His wings".  Thus through obedience

and  communion's  thirst,  walk  in the newness of life shall we.

Mirroring  the  passion  of  His  love in our lives, partaking of

His  joyous  strength, yielding unto His perfect winds of change,

and  continuously  sprouting anew in awe of His holiness, finding

our purpose under the glory of heaven.
