Chapter 7

The next morning Terri woke up in AJ's arms. The sun was shining into their room, and she smiled when she noticed he was still asleep. He looks so peaceful, she thought. She remembered last night and smiled again, resting her head back on his bare chest.

"Baby, you're the right kind of wrong." She sang softly, remembering how everyone told her not to date AJ, because he had hurt his girlfriends in the past. She didn't know what they were talking about, AJ was the best thing in her life right now. Not many people would stand by there significant other once they had found out all that AJ had.

"Morning." She greeted a moment later when AJ stirred and opened his eyes. How she loved his eyes, they were so beautiful, and she could see his soul in them. AJ smiled and kissed her lightly.

"Good morning. What did you do last night?" He asked chuckling lightly.

"Well," She started, nuzzling to his chest, "I cheated on my boyfriend with this blonde guy from Maryland, stole a jet-ski, won a marathon, sang the star spangled banner at the Braves game…Oh! And still made it home in time to make love to my boyfriend. You?" She asked with a pleasant smile.

"Nothing as exciting as that, I'm sure." He laughed, "But I did give my girlfriend her first birthday present of the year."

"Awe, how sweet." She cooed and kissed his cheek, "She's a lucky girl."

"I'm a lucky guy." He replied, pulling her to him for a kiss.

"Morning." Everyone greeted each other as AJ and Terri walked into the kitchen, smelling waffles and hash browns.

"Hey, get this, Andy may no longer be a suspect." Howie told the two.

"What?!" Terri asked, completely shocked.

"Well, he is and isn't. The thing is that the gun that was purchased was purchased by a woman, and that woman had dark hair. The nurse that Andy knows had blonde hair, and is slightly shorter that what the can tell the woman is on the tape." Nick informed.

"How do you all know?" AJ asked.

"We got a call today from Heather." Lexi sighed.

"Ok, so we have to find this chick who bought the gun." Terri sighed, sitting at the table.

"Oh, happy birthday Terri." Amber told her.

"Happy birthday." Kevin echoed, "How old are you?"

"Uh…How old am I? Twenty-two." Terri replied with a laugh.

"Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you…" Everyone began singing.

"Thanks guys." Terri replied with a grin.

"I've got it!" Erin announced as they watched the Braves vs. Devil Ray's game.

"Huh?" the group asked.

"What if the nurse…uh, Nancy is her name?? Well, what if Nancy got a wig and some high-heels before she went into the gun store?" Erin asked excitedly.

"Yeah! Because she is the only one that has reason or a connection to Terri and to Jonathan." Kevin exclaimed.

"The question is: what is her motive?" Becca questioned skeptically.

"Well, Jonathan screwed over Andy a few times. Maybe it really affected them." Terri suggested.

"Let's call Shannon." Amber announced, immediately grabbing the phone and speed dialing Shannon's number. "Hello, Shannon, this is Amber Lyons…" Amber went on to tell her everything the group was talking about, with everyone adding in a suggestion as she spoke.

"Ok, bye."

"What did she say?" Nick asked anxiously.

"That she'll check it out right now, and that she thinks this may be what she needs because we didn't seem like we were guilty…it kind of came out wrong, but oh well. I don't think she meant it." Amber added, walking to Kevin, who enveloped her in a hug, and just held her.

"I think we did it…" Terri sighed, relieved as AJ set his arms around her.

"Finally…" Lexi trailed off. Nick put his arms around her, it became a contagious virus, and soon all the couples were embracing each other.

"Look at us." Howie laughed, looking around.

"We're dorks." Erin laughed.

"We?" Becca chuckled, "Speak for yourself, I'm a geek, not a dork."

"Ok, we are all either geeks, dorks, dweebs, whatever." Nick finalized.

"I think we should go celebrate Terri's birthday and our success tonight." Brian suggested.
