"Brian…what are we going to do?!" Becca exclaimed frantically. "We each had a motive…"
"At least they don't have a "call" from you asking him to meet you where he died." Terri replied dryly.
"Ok, what were all of your motives?" Nick asked, sitting on the couch beside Lexi.
"I have threatened him in the past for blaming drug mishaps on me." Becca admitted, "that and he threatened my family a few times…"
"Same here." Amber sighed, trying to think of all the people who would want to kill him.
"He tried to rape me once…" Lexi admitted, tears swelling in her eyes. Nick took her into a hug as she let the tears fall, glad that he was dead forever.
"He threatened my family, brought me into the drug thing…got me addicted to cocaine, blamed me for drug mishaps, beat me…put me in the hospital three times from broken bones…" Terri told the group, "Took my virginity by force…" Terri sighed, fighting back tears as she leaned against the wall.
"Oh, honey…"AJ sighed and held her. Terri hated people seeing her cry and held back her boiling tears best she could.
"Jonathan killed my boyfriend because I wanted out and threatened to expose him…" Erin told the group, pulling Howie closer to herself. He kissed her cheek and rubbed her back.
"Shh…it's ok sweetie." Howie told her soothingly. After a moment of silence the phone rang. Brian picked it up, "Hello? Oh…yea…no…bye."
"Who was that?" Kevin asked from across the room.
"Heather . She said two things. The phone call made to Jonathan wasn't from Terri's or Erin's cell phone. It was a clone. Also, the gun used to shoot Jonathan was bought using Terri's information, but on the servalence tapes it shows some woman buying them. No one knows who she is…she has your same build and looks somewhat like you…but they can't identify her."
"So we are in the clear?" Terri asked with hope.
"Not exactly…the problem is how could anyone get to your information. They'd either have to be a professional hacker, or some one who was/is very close to you…or you gave it to them so that they could buy it for you."
"What about the finger prints?" Erin asked.
"Wiped clean." Brian replied with a sigh.
"Guys…I have a gut feeling that I know someone who was involved with this. Call Heather back and find out who Andy Stroh's doctors were." Terri told Brian and ran upstairs.
"Huh? I thought Andy Stroh died two months ago." Lexi asked.
"He did…I don't know what she is thinking…"
"Can I help you?" A lady at Fair Fax Hospital asked.
"Yes, I'd like to see the records for Andy Stroh." Terri asked, AJ with her.
"Those are confidential. What is your relation?" The woman asked.
"I'm his half sister, I just wanted to pick up his death certificate for our father." Terri replied, lying wonderfully AJ had to admit.
"I need some identification." The lady replied pleasantly.
"Here you are." Terri replied, handing her a very believable fake I.D.
"Alright, just one moment. His doctor will be out to get it for you."
"Thank you." Terri replied, and then she and AJ took their seats.
"So what do you think you'll get by seeing his birth certificate?" AJ asked her quietly.
"I don't think he died of lung cancer from smoking. He would always complain when Jonathan smoked." Terri replied.
"So?"
"I just want to see it."
"Are you Andy Stroh's sister?" A tall, middle aged and balding man asked.
"Yes, are you his doctor?" Terri asked.
"Yes. I'll take you back to the record files." The doctor told her.
"You stay here, ok?" Terri told AJ and he nodded.
"So, what exactly are you looking for?" The doctor asked her as they walked into the file room.
"He was involved in some illegal activity and when the police went to find him they were told that he had died of lung cancer caused by smoking. We didn't know this, I guess because no one knew he had living relatives, and also I didn't think he smoked…So I was just curious."
"Who told you he was dead?" The doctor asked a little confused as he read Andy's file.
"The police." Terri replied, wondering what was up.
"Whomever told you that was wrong…"
"What's up?" AJ asked as Terri came rushing out, AJ standing up to follow her.
"He was never dead, someone switched his file before the police checked it." Terri told him as they worked their way across the parking lot.
"What?!"
