Chapter 1

"54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60! Ready or not, here we come Terri and AJ!" Brian announced as he, Becca, Howie, Erin, Kevin, Amber, Nick, and Alexis walked out of the bathroom into a pitch-black basement, where somewhere AJ and Terri were hiding. They were playing Sardines, and the point is to find the team that is hiding, and hide with them. The last to find the hiding spot hides next.

"Ow! Watch out for the,"

"Ow!"

"...table." Becca finished.

"Hey, I think I found the stairs!" the others heard Howie's voice. "Are they aloud to hide up there?"

"Yeah." Alexis replied. Howie took a hand, which was evidently Erin's, his girlfriend, because she didn't complain about going up stairs and she was right behind Howie. You have to remember that the basement was pitch black, and upstairs wasn't much better.

"Terri?" AJ whispered softly.

"What? Shush, they might hear you!" She whispered back. They were in a cramped Indian style behind the couch upstairs, facing each other. Suddenly Terri felt AJ's hand search for the back of her head, first knocking into her face.

"Sorry." AJ apologized as Terri giggled. AJ pulled her into a kiss, hoping that they wouldn't knock heads. He kissed her, letting his tongue play with hers. Suddenly, Terri pulled away. "What?" Terri put a hand over his mouth, though she missed the first time and hit his chin. She heard Howie and wanted him to shut up. AJ soon heard what she heard and did so.

"They have to be around here somewhere…" Howie muttered. He did search around the couch, peering behind it, but didn't see them because it was so dark. Soon everyone had teamed up and was looking for the two because no one could find them! Forty five minutes later, Kevin called out to the group, "I found them! They are behind the couch!"

"How did you know?" AJ asked as he and Terri stood up.

"I saw the numbers on your watch glow." Kevin replied, grinning in his glory.

"I told you to take it off." Terri teased.

"I don't want to play again. We've played for an hour and fifteen minutes already." Alexis complained. She did have a point though, the game got boring after a while.

"Why don't we just sit around, sip wine, and talk?" Amber suggested.

"That works." Brian agreed. Five minutes later they were all sipping red wine, and cuddling. "This was a good idea, Ambular." Brian told her, using her nickname.

"Thanks Seaver." Amber replied.

"This cuddling thing has its advantages." Terri sighed in AJ's arms.

"Oh yeah." Alexis agreed, relaxing in Nick's arms. Nick held her tight and played with her long, black hair.

"What are you thinking? Do you know who I was back then? Do you know bout your husband, girlfriend?" Toni Braxton was heard as Becca re-entered the room. Terri stood up and began to dance, taking AJ's hand and helping him up as well. The two danced, and soon everyone was dancing and drinking.

The next day Howie woke up on the couch and the smell of eggs and pancakes filled the room. He walked into the kitchen to find Terri and Erin making breakfast. Apparently, they were the only ones up.

"Hey guys." Howie greeted.

"Hey D."

"Hi honey. We were just talking about how we all met." Erin told him.

"Oh, when Terri was singing at church?" Howie laughed.

"You know, we, the girls, really haven't known you, the guys, very long at all." Terri pointed out.

"Three months in about a week." Howie replied. "Do you all need help?" Howie asked, leaning against the counter.

"Yeah, can you get out plates and forks for everybody?" Erin asked. Howie did so, and as he finished getting out the forks, AJ walked in.

"Hey guys." He mumbled, groggily.

"Hey babe." Terri greeted and gave AJ a kiss.

"Morning." He replied and wrapped his arms around her from behind as she finished making the eggs.

"Go wake the others please." Erin asked Howie. Howie kissed her lightly and went into the next room to wake them. It was so cute in the living room. Everyone (but AJ, Terri, Erin and Howie, obviously) was cuddling and sleeping!

"Guys, get up. Breakfast is ready." Howie announced. Groans followed the announcement. "Come on Train, Amber, get up." Howie told the two. Kevin was on the couch with Amber's head on his shoulder. Moments later, "I guess you were lost when I met you, cause still there were tears in your eyes…" Blared out of the radio/CD player in the kitchen. AJ started to sing and dance over to the table, and the others joined in. They all gathered around the table, finding their seats. After breakfast was served, conversation about what the day would hold came up.

"How about dinner and a movie tonight?" Nick suggested, "I really want to see the "Perfect Storm." Nick exclaimed.

"Yeah, that looks really good." Terri agreed.

"And a game of baseball or basketball this afternoon?" Brian suggested, then took a bite of eggs.

"Uh, I didn't see any basketball courts around." Kevin replied, "But baseball would work."

"Hey! I can take you all out on my boat!" Terri exclaimed, "If you want to."

"What kind of boat?" Lexi asked, grabbing the salt.

"A bunch. I have a 34 foot cat, a 20 foot C-Hawk, a '74 Glasstron, a '54 Chris Craft, and two '56 Chris Crafts, a 12 foot inflatable outboard, a jet ski…and a truck load of dingy sail boats." Terri replied, not trying to show off.

"Damn!" Becca muttered.

"Most of them are my dad's." Terri replied.

"Is there enough wind to sail?" Erin asked.

"How many knots of wind did the weather channel say?"

"7-10." Amber replied, passing Kevin the 2% milk.

"You wanna go out on my 34 foot cat?" She asked, that was the perfect amount of wind for that boat.

"That'd be awesome!" Howie exclaimed, thinking of laying out beside Erin on the deck of the boat on the beautiful summer day.

"We're up for it." Amber spoke for both she and Kevin.

"Brian, Becca?" Terri asked, going to the next couple.

"As long as we can swim and jump off the boat." Brian grinned, his arm around Becca.

"'Course! Lexi, Nick?"

"Sure, what brand of boat?" Nick asked, always full of boat questions.

"Gemini."

"Awesome, I'm there." Nick beamed.

"Ditto." Lexi jumped in.

"AJ?" Terri asked, looking to the person beside her.

"Would I deny the chance to see you in a bikini?" He replied, causing everyone to laugh, and Terri to blush. She didn't reply, since she had no idea what to say to that.

"Alright, get on your bathing suits and anything you think you'll need. We have food and soda on the boat already, and there is a bathroom…but I suggest you go before we set sail." Terri announced. With that, and the last bite of pancakes, everyone scattered to get their things together for their boat trip.
